Tactical Air Support Inc. F-16 WIC Instructor Pilot Salary range: $190,500 - $220,000 DOE Position Summary This is a full-time position as a F-16 Weapons Instructor Course (WIC) Instructor Pilot. As an F-16 WIC instructor and Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will provide academic training and instruction using the Full Mission Simulators (FMS), operate Instructor Operating Stations (IOS), provide in-flight instruction in the F-16 Block 50, and will be a SME for all pilot training courseware updates. Conduct a Qualified Weapons Instructor course utilizing provided courseware, manuals, technical orders, etc. This position is typically represented by an experienced F-16 WIC instructor pilot. Responsibilities The ideal candidate for the position will be highly experienced, professional, disciplined, team-oriented, technically astute, and responsive to the needs of the company and its customers. Instructs pilots in ground and flight procedures and techniques, prepares lesson plans. act as a SME by applying advanced technical concepts in aviation and aid in creation of training material. Assists in the preparation of schedules, maintenance of training records and ensures that course standards, training requirements, and objectives are met by each student.
