As a Quality Technician at our Quincy Plant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring product quality, supporting sustainable solutions, and collaborating with a dedicated team. You will conduct analytical testing on crude clay ore, in-process materials, and finished processed clay products to support the manufacturing operation and ensure compliance with all quality standards. Responsibilities Operate laboratory equipment and instruments, including calcium analyzer, rheometer, electronic balance scales, moisture balances, spectrometer, and other specialized tools. Generate accurate data using a variety of laboratory techniques and analytical instrumentation. Follow company procedures, work instructions, and industry standards related to safety, sampling, testing, and proper sample handling/preparation. Conduct routine equipment validations and calibrations to ensure accuracy and reliability. Prepare and test in-process and final product samples to verify compliance with specifications. Record test results and maintain reports using various computer software systems. Requirements Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. One or more years of experience in a quality or laboratory industrial setting is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to quickly learn new computer-based equipment and systems. Experience with SAP is a plus. Whats in it for you?
