The Materials Science and Engineering Department at Missouri University of Science and Technology invites applications for a Volunteer Research Assistant to join Dr. Mario Buchely's research group. This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to contribute to high-impact research within a dynamic academic environment. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting high-impact research within the scope of the research group's projects
• Designing, executing, and meticulously documenting experiments
• Writing comprehensive technical reports with the goal of publication in peer-reviewed technical journals
• Performing regular maintenance of laboratory equipment and ensuring strict adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines
• Carrying out any other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator
