We are currently in need of a Full Time

Director of Clinical Services for our Home Health Department

MINIMAL ON CALL IS REQUIRED


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the clinical operations of our home health services ensuring adherence to patient rights and high-quality care standards.



  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures related to clinical services in compliance with regulations.



  • Manage budgets effectively to ensure financial sustainability while maintaining quality service delivery.



  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and streamline medical record management.



  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff promoting professional development and ensuring adherence to best practices.



  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of clinical services to identify areas for improvement.



  • Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and other applicable healthcare standards.



  • Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to address concerns and improve service.



  • Travel for agency support, acquisitions, annual meetings, etc.


  • Included in the Administrator on Call rotation.
  • Preferred to go through the Clinical Operations Leadership Training Program through Pennant Services. The Cornerstone COLT will be mentored by one or more agency DCS/Clinical Leaders/Resources to gain a thorough understanding of our culture, operating model, systems and what it takes to be a successful leader in cornerstone and to prepare to be a director of clinical services.



Job Requirements:


  • Valid RN, OT, PT, or SLP licensure in the State of Wisconsin.



  • Proven experience in home care with a strong understanding of patient rights.



  • Demonstrate ability in budgeting and financial management within a healthcare environment.



  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.



  • Knowledge of medical records management systems and compliance requirements.



  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus

    on patient centered care.



  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.



  • Manager experience preferred.
