As a Staff RF Modeling Engineer, you will be a key member of the RF technology development and testing group. Your task would be to develop and establish state-of-the-art modeling techniques and procedures. You will also work with the Design, Technology and Product engineering to support advanced technology and product development projects. What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)

  • Convert process specifications into practical test circuit structures to characterize various material properties.
  • Match test circuit modeled and measured results to recover parameters of interest.
  • Analyze product test results and provide feedback to Design to improve prediction accuracy.
  • Work cross-functionally from the initial phase of technology development to product development.
  • Provide support to designers by troubleshooting EM modeling and simulation software issues.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers.

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Masters degree in physics or engineering.
  • 5+ years of component-level RF design/simulation.
  • High proficiency in Electromagnetic FEM analysis (HFSS preferred)
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills. Collaborative problem solver.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Good group communication skills, able to express concepts with concise and effective visual aids.
  • Strong written and verbal English skills.

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience with acoustic RF filter design at die and package level.
  • Extensive experience with HFSS (MCAD and ECAD basis).
  • Experience characterizing RF material properties.
  • Track record of simulation accuracy.
  • Programming experience with MATLAB, Python, or LabView.
  • Experience with Front End Module, acoustic device, and/or fine feature PCB processing.

  • Domestic travel between California offices is required.

Long Description

Minimum Salary: $105,000


Maximum Salary: $175,000


We consider various factors in determining actual pay, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to salary, this position is eligible for incentive awards based on individual and business performance as well as competitive benefits.
