TITLE: Operations Manager



POSITION OBJECTIVE: Identify opportunities for improvement throughout the manufacturing process, and lead in the development and implementation of the methods for improvement. On a daily basis, must be able to effectively communicate (orally and written) with employees andother departmental personnel. Key accountabilities of position include managing team, safety, costs, and projects.



QUALIFICATIONS:



  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years plastic extrusion manufacturing experience, in a management role.
  • Strong technical and supervisory skills.
  • Strong analytical, financial, technical, planning, problem solving skills.
  • Strong Interpersonal, Leadership skills and effective communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of the extrusion manufacturing process.
  • Project management skills.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the US.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of personnel.
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary such as overtime and weekends.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Adhere to safety precautions and regulations, promptly reporting hazards, and participate in safety meetings.
  • Oversee all maintenance and repair work on a daily basis.
  • Plan daily maintenance activities to support manufacturing.
  • Perform all phases of equipment troubleshooting of equipment issues.
  • Test equipment as required to ensure proper working conditions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
