Laser & Press Brake Operator I

Stellar Hearth Products, a division of Hearth and Home Technologies, is looking to hire a Machine Technician at their Lakeville, MN location. Stellar creates unique luxury and custom gas fireplaces to meet the specific needs and desires of our customers.

Essential Functions:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:

• Accountable for the set up and operation of a laser and/or press brake machine to cut, form and construct Stellar parts and products.
• Willing to perform general daily maintenance on the machines to help the upkeep of the equipment.
• Work to maximize efficiencies in their areas and to understand that Stellar believes strongly in continuous improvement and change.
• The ability to complete finished product within the parameters outlined in regards to any blueprints and/or the production schedule.
• Adherence to all Stellar quality standards by producing products which align with the print specifications. Attention to detail is a must.
• Understand the importance of safety and cleanliness in the work area by performing regular inspections and cleaning in their areas.
• Working to help maintain production goals.

Qualifications Include:

• Motivated to perform well and to take on additional tasks as needed.
• A positive, can-do, team player attitude
• Experience with Safan press brakes is a plus
• Detail oriented and capable of carrying out a task with all specifics necessary to get the task completed.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary
