AI Project Manager

The AI Project Manager at Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) serves as the central coordinator for artificial intelligence (AI) opportunities withing Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This role focuses on tracking, evaluating, and managing AI project and tool requests to ensure alignment with SRNOL's mission and DOE requirements. The Project Manager will act as the intake point for AI initiatives, helping prioritize opportunities, facilitating approvals, and coordinating across technical, business, and compliance teams.

This position requires strong project coordination skills, an understanding of AI/ML applications, and the ability to navigate governance and approval processes to accelerate adoption of AI at SRNL.

This position has the follow objectives:

• Track and manage AI-related opportunities and tool requests coming into OCIO.
• Serve as a liaison between SRNL teams, OCIO leadership, and DOE approval processes.
• Prioritize AI initiatives to ensure high-value opportunities move forward effectively.
• Provide visibility and reporting on AI activities, progress, and risk across the laboratory.
