AI Application Developer

The AI Application Developer at Savannah River National Laboratory Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) will design, build, and deploy artificial (AI) models that improve business operations and decision-making. This role focuses on developing practical AI and machine learning solutions that streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and provide actionable insights across the laboratory's operational landscape. The developer will work closely with business units, data scientists, and IT teams to translate operations needs into functional AI applications that integrate within our enterprise environment.

This position has the following objectives

• Design and implement AI/ML models that support and optimize SRNL's business operations.
• Translate business challenges into data-driven AI solutions.
• Ensure models are developed with scalability, security, and compliance in mind.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver usable, integrated AI applications.
• Support SRNL's broader AI strategy by building repeatable, sustainable AI development practices.
