Job Requirements: * Support all SDLC activities including analysis, design, programming, testing and debugging, and production support of complex web-based solutions utilizing .NET framework and SQL Server. Maintain technical documentation. Participate in design and code peer reviews. Familiar with the alignment of CMMI's process and deliverables to the SDLC. * Support MS component integration, SOA, and n-tier architectures. * Identify and implement process improvements for: o Applications - redesigns for usability (end user), reusability (design and code), maintainability, and performance o Database - design updates and operational tuning * Provide estimates for assigned work; and complete work within schedule. Required Skills: * 3+ years of experience working with ASP.NET Web Applications, SQL Server, C#, JavaScript, CSS, and JQuery, on large, complex systems * Exceptionally strong technical skills, including analysis, design, and development. * 1+ years of experience supporting data base design and / or administration (may be in conjunction with application support) * Experience with UI and Report Generators and meeting Section 508 compliance standards * High awareness of security throughout the lifecycle, including requirements, design, and coding to avoid security issues * Exceptionally strong communication skills, verbal and written. Includes the ability to effectively communicate complex information to audiences with varying technical and system backgrounds Desired Skills (pluses, one or more): * CMS experience * Financial systems experience * MS Certification * Agile / JIRA / Confluence / GitHub * Internet Information Services (IIS) * Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) * Message Queuing experience * Data Entity Framework Required Education / Certification: * Computer Science degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related major Desired (pluses): * Master's in Information Systems or Computer Science The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is 115,000 to 130,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
