- Estimated hourly base pay: $23.27 (minimum) - $29.09 (midpoint) - $34.91 (maximum) Plus shift differential and overtime

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a QA Technician 2nd Shift, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Performs a variety of quality control support tasks, including product/documentation reviews, in-process inspections, and routine customer source inspections. Provides End Item Data and audit support, and trains other quality inspectors. This role is 2nd Shift, hours are 2-10pm M-F with overtime on Saturdays, sometimes with short notice.
What You Will Be Doing
- Applies basic knowledge of quality concepts, including normal distributions and creating simple charts to track and help drive quality improvements.
- Assist in evaluating non-conformances, causes and corrective action.
- Reviews and approves finished product and associated data prior to shipment to the customer. This includes reviewing test data, preparing certificates of conformance and providing any basic documentation required by the customer contract.
- Participates in audit activities in a supporting role. Audits may include: process audits, system surveys, physical configuration audits, functional configuration audits and product audits.
- Retrieves traceability and configuration data in support of a product or customer audit/investigation.
- Performs dimensional inspection using simple inspection and hand tools.
What We Are Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-5 years related work experience required, aerospace experience preferred.
- The ability to identify problems and to assist with resolution. This also includes the ability to acquire and apply new knowledge and skills.
- The ability to accomplish a task with concern for all the areas involved, including the ability to notice minute inconsistencies/faults in parts, equipment, or production processes to prevent faulty products leaving the facility.
- The ability to write effectively, to read and understand work documents, to communicate information clearly to coworkers and supervisors, and the ability to listen attentively and comprehend key pieces of spoken information.
- Ability to read, interpret and use the information presented in drawings, diagrams and blueprints to determine appropriate activities, tools, and next steps in the production process. Basic knowledge of GD&T.
- Knowledge of handling materials and safety equipment/gear in accordance with MSDS requirements.
- Ability to operate basic inspection equipment (e.g., microscope, functional gauges, plug gage, and micrometer). Complete open set-ups independently.
