Job Description The Senior Construction Loan Analyst is responsible for identifying and monitoring construction delivery risk factors and ensuring that construction projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Essential Functions * Monitor post-closing of commercial construction, acquisition/development, and builder's line of credit loan facilities * Work with a portfolio of commercial construction, acquisition/development, and builder's line of credit loan facilities * Provide operational consistency, efficiency, productivity, reporting, and regulatory compliance * Provide construction administration guidance and support for Commercial Lending, Credit Administration, and Loan Operations * Ensure lien waivers are obtained as required by state * Monitor lease up during construction * Review and understand Building Loan Agreements, determining if a referral to management is necessary * Verify that Building Loan Agreements are in compliance with Construction Rules * Engage/review approved consultant's inspection reports, verifying that they are accurate, determine if they are able to be processed and referring inspection reports or their conclusions to management if needed * Review credit approval memos for projects to be managed * Prepare management reports as required, including quarterly construction memos * Comply with all compliance and audit-related matters in area of responsibility * Review draw requests and process draw requests in a timely manner * Monitor construction budgets and schedule and escalate to lending, credit and management when necessary * Order/review plan/cost/spec or PCA reports from approved consultants
Additional Essential Functions * Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations * Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency * Work as part of a team * Work with on-site equipment Qualifications Education - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related degree preferred Experience - 6-8 years construction administration, documentation, processing or lending experience preferred Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Ability to read and understand inspection reports, ability to analyze complex credits accurately and efficiently, ability to work with minimal direct supervision and use independent judgment and decision making within the parameters of Northwest policies Northwest is an equal opportunity employer.
