Position Summary
B&E is seeking a SharePoint & Power Platform Developer to support NAVFAC Atlantic (LANT) programs. The developer will design, develop, and sustain Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform business solutions, including dashboards, applications, workflows, and data visualizations. The role will focus on delivering innovative tools and enhancing collaboration across distributed project teams. Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to maintain and enhance websites, visualizations, dashboards, and applications.
- Evaluate existing sites, applications, workflows, and diagrams; recommend and implement improvements.
- Design, develop, test, and implement SharePoint and Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Develop system documentation including requirements, workflow diagrams, architecture diagrams, and test plans.
- Create onboarding, guidance, and training materials to improve UI/UX and user adoption.
- Analyze structured and unstructured data, design workflows to process inputs, and present outputs through dashboards, charts, and reports.
- Support maintenance, sustainment, and system account management.
- Provide technical support and training to end users.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform development.
- High proficiency with Microsoft 365 cloud applications.
- Strong communication skills, with ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
- PMP certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to walk, sit, and/or stand for extended periods for multiple days/weeks
- Able to operate office equipment, including computer, copy machine, phone, etc.
- Capable of light lifting, up to 50 lbs.
Working conditions:
- Able to work both indoor/outdoor (with exposure to the elements)
- Able to walk/climb/knee/crouch and reach
- Able to work on rough terrain when necessary
- Able to work in confined spaces and/or heights
- Able to wear the required PPE, minimally use gloves, a hard hat, a respirator, and steel-toe boots that may be in combination with protective clothing/suits, a respirator, and/or a fall restraint/recovery harness
- Exposure to hazards/contaminants at times
