Utz Quality Foods is seeking a passionate and experienced Weeknight Production Supervisor to join our dedicated leadership team at the Broadway facility in Hanover, PA. In this role, you'll play a key part in overseeing our night shift production team, ensuring operations run safely, efficiently, and to our high-quality standards. Responsibilities:




  • Supervise the night shift production team, ensuring smooth operations.



  • Meet production demands efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.



  • Ensure product quality by upholding all processing and packaging standards.



  • Monitor and maintain data integrity/accuracy in ERP systems.



  • Schedule personnel efficiently to meet daily production requirements.



  • Use EAM to enter work orders and track preventative maintenance tasks.



  • Monitor RedZone for machine efficiency, quality checks, and downtime.



  • Assess line-level performance to drive process improvements and reduce waste.



  • Support cycle-end inventory counts with finance and receiving teams.



  • Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.



  • Monitor labor hours and crew size to optimize production efficiency.



  • Coordinate product and barrel movement with interplant logistics.



  • Approve weekly timesheets through ADP.



  • Train and coach personnel to meet performance standards.



  • Enforce safety rules, address unsafe equipment/practices, and follow food safety protocols.



  • Adhere to and enforce all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).



  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.




Requirements:



  • Must be able to work the scheduled shift of Sunday-Wednesday, 6:00 PM-6:00 AM, and additional hours as needed to meet production demands.

  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.



  • Experience with packaging machinery and production operations preferred.



  • Effective communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.



  • Strong problem-solving, math, and analytical abilities.



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.



  • Ability to lift moderate weight and move skids as needed.



  • Prior supervisory experience in manufacturing is a plus.



  • Additional post-high school education preferred but not required.



  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
