Position: Security Operations Supervisor


Department: Venue Operations - Security


Reporting Relationship: Manager - Venue Security


Status: Full Time (Exempt)



Position Summary


The Security Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily shift security operations of Bank of America Stadium, including the supervision of security specialists and officers and the management of physical security systems. This role ensures the safety of guests, staff, and property by maintaining high standards of security protocol compliance, system functionality, and incident response readiness.



Primary Responsibilities



  • Supervise and support a team of security officers across all shifts, ensuring consistent coverage and performance.
  • Conduct shift briefings, ensuring officers are prepared for daily shift and executing post orders.
  • Monitor and manage physical security systems including CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and perimeter protection.
  • Ensure regular inspections of doors, gates, locks, and other physical barriers to ensure integrity and functionality.
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents, breaches, or alarms, documenting findings and escalating as needed.
  • Respond in real time to emergency situations, including security breaches, alarms, and safety incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with venue security protocols, safety regulations, and emergency procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of security posts, equipment, and systems to ensure operational integrity.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot security equipment, coordinating repairs and upgrades as needed.
  • Develop and deliver training and briefings for security staff on procedures, technology, and incident response.
  • Collaborate with venue operations, law enforcement, and emergency services as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed reports on incidents, staffing, system performance, and compliance.
  • Assist in planning and implementing security strategies for events, high-traffic periods, and special circumstances.
  • Support credentialing and access control for events, contractors, and deliveries.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in physical security.



Minimum Qualifications



  • Associates or bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in physical security, facilities protection, people management, or a related role.
  • Familiarity with security systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify vulnerabilities in physical infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and respond effectively under pressure.

Essential Functions



  • Standing for extended periods of time.
  • Walking throughout the facility for extended periods of time which may include stairs.
  • Lift at least 30 pounds.



Work Environment(s)



  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required for events and 24-hour security operations.
  • Position may require standing for long periods and responding to on-site security situations.
