Job Title: Logistics Mgt Support Liaison II

Location: Hampton, VA - Onsite

Minimum Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI without Polygraph

Travel: CONUS and OCONUS up to 10%

Schedule: M-F 8-4:30pm

This position is responsible to implement, maintain and sustain logistics activities and associated governing directives. Assist in controlling cost, schedule, and performance of various aircraft sustainment programs by managing wholesale logistics and shipping processes.

Who You Are and What You Need:



  • Experience as a Program Manager with BIG SAFARI/Special Projects, Aeronautical Systems Center/Air Force Life Cycle Logistics Center.
  • Ability to coordinate with headquarters and major commands to deliver major capability requirements via quick reaction contract strategies.
  • Familiarity executing Contractor Logistics Support including communications and combat support.
  • Proven management skills related to Communications-related Integrated Logistics Support including training equipment, analysis and sustainment requirements.
  • Communications expertise skilled in aircraft generation and accountability of tools, supplies, test equipment and vehicles.
  • Experience with executive-level support is a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include delivering presentations.
  • Proficiency using PC software applications with an advanced ability to utilize Windows-based programs and Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.


Education, Certifications & Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 10+ years' experience in logistics and related fields including 5 years' mid-level organizational or project-level administration and/or support.
  • Proficient in managing aircraft sustainment programs including, Depot Level Maintenance operations.
  • Experience with signals analysis/processing and USAF deployment processes is preferred.



What You Will Do:



  • Function as BIG SAFARI (BS) Program Management Office (PMO)/645 AESG Logistics Management Liaison to Headquarters (HQ), Air Combat Command (ACC).
  • Effectively manage assigned office communications, contracts, and administration using all available logistics tools to maximize support to managers, supervisors or associated project activities at all levels of responsibility.
  • Assist the PMO coordinating requirements with HQ ACC focusing on logistics and support requirements.
  • Coordinate operational capability requirements at HQ ACC and determine adequate solutions.
  • Develop or change Capability Development Documents, Capability Production Documents, Performance Work Statements, Statements of Work, Statements of Objectives, Technical Orders, Interim Technical Orders and other documents, as needed.
  • Coordinate between Government CO, Government Quality Assurance Evaluators (QAE) and contractor on evaluation results of contractor development and manufacturing performance.
  • Assist with implementing corrective actions, as required.
  • Assist with resolving technical problems associated with the integration of new capabilities.
  • Coordinate sustainment requirements for system upgrades and system improvements.
  • Evaluate technical data, technical manuals and engineering changes.
  • Assist with preparing program briefings on acquisition, financial, and technical improvement projects.
  • Other tasks/duties as assigned.
