Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.

SUMMARY

At the direction of the Center Manager, the Credit Support associate is responsible for providing administrative and clerical duties to support to branch officers and customers. The Credit Support position plays a key roll in meeting the secretarial needs of the branch.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
  • Demonstrates a thorough working knowledge of the Bank's established policies and procedures and performs all tasks required for developing, servicing and expanding the targeted client base.
  • Has familiarity with all bank services and makes referrals to appropriate departments.
  • May participate in calling programs and customer calls to develop and maintain business, either on the phone, at the clients place of business or in the Business Financial Center.
  • Generates sales of all bank products and services including loans.
  • Consults with customers and prospects to identify products and services that will meet the customer/prospect financial objectives.
  • Sell and cross-sell bank products and services to existing and potential customers.
  • Prepare process, organize and assemble loan documentation, loan files, RCE's, all type of new accounts, products, etc.
  • Obtain and analyze credit information from various sources.
  • Ensure proper documentation requirements are met for all accounts maintained by the Center.
  • Timely and accurate completion of all required monthly reports.
  • Provides consistent, prompt, efficient, and professional customer service which exemplifies "The Citizens Experience."
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of two years experience in a similar position or in a position that would naturally lead to this position.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Salary Range:$21.56 To $29.11 Hourly
