Position summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technology Business Analyst Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in analyzing technology specifications for enhancements, gathering requirements, and supporting the development of technology solutions that align with strategic goals.

PAY: $18-$21 per hour (Determined by the knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant.)

• Intern Relocation Adjustment Allowance of $1,000.00 is offered for the purpose of assisting with various expenses associated with your relocation for the internship (less applicable taxes and based on eligibility). Essential Functions:
* Log and manage IT service demand and using ServiceNow including documentation of
* technical inefficiencies.
* Ensure documentation adhered to industry standards and supported audit and compliance requirements.
* Document functional and non-functional needs
* Map current workflows
* Translate business needs to technical specifications
* Validate system designs against business goals

Additional Responsibilities:
* Maintain system data
* Monitor for data integrity

What Is Required:
* Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree as a major in industrial engineering with a minor systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate with employees and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
* Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
* Ability to prepare and give presentations.
* Attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
* This role will be required to travel up to 10% of the time.

What Is Desired:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* Familiarity with business analysis tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Dev Ops is a plus.)
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Passion for technology and interest in business strategy. Operations research, systems engineering, supply chain management, lean manufacturing.
* Identify Process Technology gaps to streamline our utility industry.
* Efficiency analysis of utility operations.
* Data-driven decision-making for work and maintenance planning enhancements.
