Job Title: Dental Assistant Location: Dublin, GA 31021 Duration: 12 Months with Possible Extension Schedule: 08:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday Role & Responsibilities: The dental assistant shall provide chair-side assistance for general and specialty dental procedures to include restorative, prosthodontic and surgical procedures. The dental assistant shall prepare the treatment rooms and instruments for patient care ensuring appropriateness as to procedure being delivered. The dental assistant shall retract tissue, suction, and pass instruments during procedures. The dental assistant will be proficient in taking digital radiographs. The dental assistant shall follow all infection control standards and protocols in compliance with the Client guidelines. The dental assistant shall comply with the VA regulations for safety and privacy. The dental assistant must meet the needs of the customer while supporting the medical center and service missions. The dental assistant must treat the customers to include the patients, visitors, volunteers and all medical center staff in a courteous, tactful, and respectful manner. The dental assistant will work under the general supervision of the dental chief or designee. The contractor shall provide contract staffing for one FTE Dental Assistant to provide dental assisting services on site in accordance with specifications contained hereinto beneficiaries of the Client. Required Qualifications: Dental Assistance Licensure for the State of GA. Other Details: The dental assistant shall be available to work Tuesday through Friday 08:00am-04:30pm and some Saturdays 08:00am-12:00pm. Although, the regular hours will be Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
