Quality Management System Coordinator

Purpose:

To manage and coordinate all aspects of the Quality Management System under the supervision of the Quality Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Administration and maintaining quality system functions in HQMS modules such as Internal Audit, Calibration, Document Control, Training Documentation Management, Corrective Actions, Customer Complaints, Material Nonconformance, and Approved Supplier List process.
  • Conduct Internal Audits and follow up with scheduled audits to ensure completion.
  • CAR, and Customer Complaints documentation preparation and follow-up to ensure owners answer in a timely manner.
  • Support Quality Department supervision when Quality Manager is absent.
  • Support Certificate creation/verification as required.
  • Support Quality Manager with AS9100/ISO9001 certification, including surveillance audit, recertification, and findings.
  • Provide daily, weekly, monthly Quality metrics to Quality Manager.



Minimum Qualifications:


  • 5+ Years Quality Experience
  • ISO9001/AS9100 and NQA-1 Lead Auditor Certification preferred, completion of training will be required if not already certified.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and with written documentation and presentations to management and staff regarding the quality system.
  • Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written.
  • Proficient in PC applications including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.



Education:


  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience writing and editing quality systems documents.



Working Hours and Conditions, including Travel Required:

Normal working hours at the Los Lunas Plant Office are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. The plant production areas work one, or two shifts.
