JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Vice President, Information Systems and Technology

Department or Branch: Data Processing

Reports to: Executive Officer, SVP, COO & CIO

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Vice President of Information Systems and Technology is responsible for tactical leadership of the company's technology infrastructure, information systems, cybersecurity, and IT support function. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills to drive the company's information systems and technology initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and security objectives. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the availability of secure, reliable, innovative, and competitive information systems and technology platforms and related services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT and technology strategy that supports corporate goals and complies with regulatory and security requirements.
  • Oversee all facets of technology operations: network and infrastructure, data centers, cybersecurity, and help desk support.
  • Lead efforts to successfully complete major initiatives, such as information system and technology upgrades, platform migrations, and implementations.
  • Manage vendor relationships, service-level agreements, and third-party performance.
  • Support IT audit processes and manage external audit responses.
  • Lead and mentor a team of technology professionals, promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information systems.
  • Prepare and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate technology solutions that improve business operations and efficiency.
  • Continuously monitor emerging technologies and trends to evaluate applicability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and external partners.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in executing complex IT initiatives and driving organizational change.
  • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, vendor management, cybersecurity, and software delivery.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with ability to engage across levels.
  • Ability to think strategically and align technology investments with business objectives.
  • Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive and decisive approach.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, co-workers, and outside bank personnel.

Communicate Orally.

Normal daily physical activities include walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.

Must be able to read reports and use a computer.

Occasionally will lift 20-30 pounds (files, cash drawer, etc.)
