Structural Welding Instructor
Overview Department 642 is currently looking for an organized, self-motivated Structural Welding Instructor for the Weld School. This position will report to the Supervisor of the Weld School and play an integral role in the training and qualification of Welding students. The Welding Instructor will be part of a team, responsible for the training of students in various courses related to general safety, various welding processes and wire types, as well as additional welding related requirements. Qualified candidates will have a strong sense of commitment to Safety and Procedure Compliance, be a self-starter and possess strong verbal & written communication skills. Candidates must also possess the ability to multi-task with a friendly, approachable customer service demeanor. Responsibilities & Duties - The responsibilities & duties include but are not limited to:
Instructing various classroom courses related to trade work such as Workmanship, Back to Basics and Safety Briefs
