At Kraton, we make a Positive Difference, and we are looking for individuals who are also looking to make a difference in their jobs, for our customers and to the world. We are looking to hire a key member of our Supply Chain team at our Panama City, Floridalocation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinateactivities in the following areas: Supplies and distribution, foreign trade and customer service, production and raw material planning, procurement and contracts
  • Coordinateplanning with other company branches
  • Lead the supply chain team and establishing metrics and objectives
  • Working aligned with the Supply Chain team in order to optimize the company's resources inventory levels
  • Analyze processes and procedures in all departments
  • Create an annual budget for the supply chain area
  • Keep the Department's costs under control
  • Manage ongoing improvement projects
  • Keep the Company's directors informed about the status of Brazilian International Trade and representing the company before financial institutions and trade associations, in matters related to Foreign Trade
  • Ensure quality storage of materials and products
  • Ensure proper receipt of material by means of an effective control of item checking, tax classification according to materials and legislation, and making materials available to internal customers within the required timeframes
  • Ensure product billing and delivery, maintaining on-time and efficient shipment thereof
  • Manage logistical costs of exporting and importing, involving negotiation with the respective logistical chain
  • Ensure quick response to customer complaints
  • Keep an open communication channel between the commercial and supply chain departments
  • Keep contracts up-to-date and ensuring review and approval thereof by the legal department
  • Ensure that all contractors providing service within the company comply with Kraton's requirements, with up-to-date documentation pursuant to standard SA8000
  • Disseminate the company's quality, occupational health, safety, environment and social accountability policies to all human resources

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of distribution and logistics - local and
  • Knowledge of International Trade
  • Knowledge of Cost Management
  • Experience in team formation and development

Education, Certifications & Licenses

  • Administration or Engineering Degree Desirable
