Principal Architect

As a Principal Architect, you will be responsible for designing enterprise-level solutions that involve a variety of technologies. Your role will include creating enterprise roadmaps for clients and designing solutions for proposals. You may start new projects completely greenfield, tasked with designing innovative solutions from the ground up. Other developers will rely on the architectural platforms you provide to develop their solutions. You will often be involved in more than four projects simultaneously, serving as technical oversight or advisory on some, and as lead architect or lead developer on others. This position requires a deep understanding of software design principles and patterns, secure coding, cloud architecture, network communication, and the ability to effectively integrate multi-system and multi-tenant solutions.

• Works closely with principal developers and other architects to create scalable and efficient solutions.
• Provides guidance on technology selection and best practices.

• Develop deliverables without bugs.
• Successfully complete assignments on a project.
• Ensure the success of deliverables assigned to more junior resources, keeping an eye on their quality as the lead of the project.
• Communicate progress daily to the project manager.
• Check in code daily.
• Be the ultimate resource - provide final answers, even if it requires extensive research. Teach those below you to be resourceful on their own, but assist them if they truly need help.
• Exhibit best practices in all deliverables.
