CareDx, Inc. is seeking a skilled and proactive Audio/Visual Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure team at our headquarters in South San Francisco. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the success of our internal and external events, ensuring seamless AV experiences across virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats. You will also support broader IT operations and infrastructure initiatives across our U.S. offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for all AV-related issues.
  • Support/planning for both live and pre-recorded virtual, hybrid, and in-person events such as:
    • Advisory Boards
    • Webinars
    • All Field Calls
    • New Hire Trainings
    • Town Halls
    • Board Meetings
    • Guest Speaker Panels
    • Off-site Meetings
    • Holiday and Company celebrations
  • Collaborate with event organizers to assess AV needs and provide on-site technical support.
  • Administer and support Zoom, and Microsoft Teams meetings.
  • Maintain and support AV hardware and integrations:
    • AV laptops, cameras, microphones, signage TVs, conference room displays, and AV control systems.
  • Track AV inventory, manage equipment storage, and order supplies as needed.
  • Record and edit video presentations for internal and external use.
  • Train IT staff on AV troubleshooting and best practices.
  • Additional IT Duties:
  • Monitor server backup jobs, gather evidence, and store for audits.
  • Monitor server security patching, gather evidence, and store for audits.
  • Support and troubleshoot office surveillance systems.
  • Provide printer and peripheral support.
  • Unlocking user accounts/Resetting passwords (Active Directory)
  • Support new user onboarding: laptop setup, docking stations, and peripherals.
  • Perform other IT administrative duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in AV support or administration.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of audio and video equipment, cabling, networking, and signal routing.
  • Familiarity with various software and hardware, including Microsoft Office Suite and relevant AV control systems.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, work in various environments (including heights and confined spaces), and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and flexibility
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate event schedules.

San Francisco Bay Area Roles:

The anticipated base salary range for candidates who will work in Brisbane, California is $94,000 to $117,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. CareDx is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
