Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. Analyzes verbal or statistical data to prepare reports and studies for use by professional workers in a variety of scientific or engineering areas. May be proficient in qualitative and/or quantitative lab methods. Includes all levels of education and experience. 1-4 years' experience required.
Key Responsibilities: * Perform mechanical, electrical, conditioning, length, OD, and visual tests on medical devices * Follow detailed written and verbal instructions * Maintain accurate documentation using good documentation practices * Communicate clearly with engineers regarding test results and observations * Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate safety equipment * Utilize lab tools and equipment including calipers, MTS, multimeters, digital thermometers, force gauges, Cognex, LabView, and hand tools * Maintain a work balance of approximately 85% lab time and 15% desk time (100% on-site) Required Qualifications: * 1-4 years of relevant experience or post-high school education * Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail * Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently * Familiarity with medical device testing or product assembly preferred * Experience in R&D or testing environments is a plus * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Document drafting experience is beneficial |
