This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Technician.
JOB OBJECTIVE: The Warehouse Technician plays a pivotal role in our organization by ensuring the efficient and strategic receipt, storage, and distribution of materials. Working collaboratively with procurement, production, and logistics teams, they maintain a well organized warehouse environment that prioritizes accuracy, safety, and space optimization. This role contributes directly to our commitment to delivering high quality products to our customers.
CORE DUTIES:
1. Replenish primary bins, all pickable locations, and vendor managed inventory each day.
2. Monitor material usage in the Business Central ERP to make strategic stocking decisions.
3. Create new stocking locations based on material usage and available space.
4. Drive inventory layout improvements to optimize stocking levels and space utilization.
5. Coordinate with the Procurement Specialist to identify and address any material shortages.
6. Receive inbound material: unpack and inspect goods, process purchase orders to receive the inventory, and deliver products to the correct location.
7. Perform inbound inspections for critical materials.
8. Conduct weekly and monthly cycle counts.
9. Coordinate small parcel outbound shipments, including shipping goods to Field Engineers.
10. Monitor and create 3D printed material and RFID passes based on demand.
11. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and report any maintenance needs promptly.
12. Support projects and other duties as assigned.
13. Pick orders and support production technicians.
14. Complete customer configurations.
15. Understand and support the essential duties of the Logistics Coordinator.
16. Serve as the back up Logistics Coordinator during absences.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum of four years of warehouse-related experience.
2. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and delegate when appropriate.
3. Ability to write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
4. Ability to gather and analyze inventory data from an ERP system.
5. Valid driver's license.
6. Ability to sort through multiple tasks and prioritize based on deadlines independently.
7. High level of written and verbal communication skills.
8. Process-driven mindset with the ability to develop and document process improvements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Current forklift certification.
2. Experience with engineering methods such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or data analysis.
3. Experience with the Business Central ERP system and other Microsoft Office products.
4. Experience working in an ISO 9001-certified production environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
1. Ability to occasionally move objects up to 100 pounds for up to one hour per day.
2. Ability to remain stationary for several hours at a time and position oneself (e.g., kneeling or crouching) as needed throughout the day.
3. Ability to work in areas with limited space.
4. Willingness to work overtime, evenings, or weekends as requested to meet production and service responsibilities. Diversity is important at Terso.
