We are seeking for an energetic, creative, and analytical professional who can partner with multiple business functional leaders in the Sales, Finance, and Supply chain areas, understand their business challenges and co-create analytical solutions by transforming the non-integrated transactional data into integrated, meaningful information. You will be part of the global analytics team working alongside the external consultants and other internal Business Intelligence professionals. You will be part of the journey to activate operational analytics, explore data science capabilities in the cloud platform, and reposition existing integrated models to support changing source systems. Responsibilities: * Contribute to the development of business cases, cost justifications and functional specifications * Collaborate with functional teams to gather, understand, and document business requirements and challenges * Participate in the construction of development standards using the best practices of SDLC and ensure adherence throughout the implementation and support process * Design, develop, document, and implement data-driven solutions using enterprise-supported analytical platforms and tool sets * Create or enhance enterprise grade analytical data products (semantic data models) using advanced techniques in D&A platforms (SSAS and Power Bi cloud) * Develop or modify data warehouses and data marts in SQL and MS Fabric using best practices of data engineering * Collaborate with business users and reporting analysts to develop and execute test plans * Take ownership of existing data warehouse databases, data marts, and analytical models * Monitor processes of data collection, storage, and analysis * Monitor the ETL jobs for their failures / load time and continuously optimize them * Develop and maintain data models using SSAS to support business intelligence and analytics * Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions and assess supplier risk * Constantly analyze business performance and processes using the data * Train team members and business users on data literacy as and when required * Stay updated with the latest happenings in the business intelligence space * Mentor and provide guidance to externally contracted Data Engineering developers Skills to Perform This Role: Interpersonal Skills * High Integrity and ethical behavior * Work in a team environment * Team building skills * Being able to lead the project, or be a team member in a project * Enables teamwork and cooperation Technical Skills * Extremely proficient in SQL - Databases, tables, views, Store Procedures, UDFs, CTEs, Linked servers, etc. * Extremely proficient in DAX language both to query and to develop new measures / columns * Sound understanding of BI semantic layer, data engineering, and database concepts * Expertise in data warehouse tools / databases / modern BI solutions * Ability to architect, develop and deploy enterprise grade data models using platforms like SSAS, and Power BI * Ability to architect, and develop data engineering solutions to feed semantic models and to support operational reporting using tools like SQL, Power BI, Snowflake, etc. * Knowledge of Data Engineering and Business Intelligence terminologies and concepts * Work with multiple data sources, databases, data formats - SAP ECC, ADP, SFDC, Syspro, etc. * Highly skilled in ETL process * Leverage cloud technologies, including Azure Data Lake Storage, One Lake, and MS FABRIC, to build scalable and reliable data solutions * Utilize Spark on MS FABRIC to perform big data processing and analysis tasks * Knowledge of OLTP systems and process - SAP, SFDC, and Syspro Communication Skills * Excellent listening abilities * Excellent written and verbal communication across all organizational levels, including customers and suppliers * Strong presentation and facilitation skills * Ability to articulate technical issues and solutions to non-technical audiences Leadership Skills * Clarity of focus - Sets objectives, manages and measures to ensure delivery of those objectives * Manages the expectations of customers, suppliers and members * Proficient at "Selling" solutions and educating others as needed * Fact based decision making * Must demonstrate a wide degree of creativity and latitude in this role The ideal candidate will be located near Jasper, IN and work primarily from of our headquarters.
