Position Summary |
This position will serve as a Clinical Research Coordinator within the Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center. The Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for the planning, organization, and conduct of multiple clinical research study protocols, including independently collecting and recording data, project administration, and communication with various stakeholders.
This position is in a clinical setting and will be responsible for the research administration and data management of the Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center. It will bet he primary resource to ensure accurate reporting aspects of the
ATHN dataset and surveillance project for bleeding disorders to clinical and research staff. The position will maintain the
HCT population profile, mortality report, and the registry for bleeding disorders surveillance data. This data will be organized, collected, and tabulated describe the epidemiologic characteristics of people with bleeding disorders, the complications of these disorders, and used to guide programmatic activities. This position will participate in
ATHN studies and other related studies which will involve recruiting and consenting patients, obtaining consent forms, collecting processing and shipping samples and completing paperwork and
IRB related tasks. The data coordinator will also create reports for study feasibility and adhere to the organization regulatory and compliance. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work and communicate with diverse populations effectively and professionally. Ability to work independently as well as function as part of a team. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Must have demonstrated experience in viewing medical records and handling sensitive information in a confidential manner. Must have experience in Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrate the ability to complete job duties with minimal supervision. Ability to travel to annual conferences as required. |
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Preferred candidates with prior experience in a clinical setting, knowledge of
IRB submission process preferred. Knowledge of Epic a plus. |

Ability to lift up to 10lbs, ability to travel to from clinic locations and office location. |
