Full Stack Developer Advisor

The Role

Under limited supervision, analyze, and develop system requirements, program specifications and code/unit test to meet business requirements/specifications for large projects. Develop or contribute to deliverables for additional levels of testing and support test execution including system level and Integration tests. Frequently leads large projects. Resolve production problems of medium to high complexity. Provides guidance to those in less senior positions. The incumbents of this position are expected to perform all other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Front-End Development

• Proficiency in JavaScript/jQuery.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Angular.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

Back-End Development

• Knowledge of server-side languages such as Java.
• Experience with web frameworks like Spring.
• Experience with communication protocols like RMI, SOAP, REST, and JMS.
• Proficiency in XML and related technologies such as XSLT for data parsing and integration.

Database Management

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as Oracle.

Version Control Systems

• Experience with Git and platforms such as GitHub.

DevOps and Deployment

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins.
• Experience with build automation tools like Ant, Maven, and Gradle.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as Azure and experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) for deploying and managing cloud-native applications.
• Experience in configuring, deploying, and managing applications on WebLogic.
• Experience with Autobahn for real-time web application protocols and messaging infrastructure.

AI and Machine Learning

• Familiarity with OpenAI technologies and integrating AI solutions into applications.
• Understanding of how AI can enhance user experiences and streamline processes.

Testing

• Experience with testing frameworks and tools like Junit and Mockito.
• Utilize API testing tools such as Insomnia and ReadyAPI, and document APIs with Swagger.
• Understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.

Additional Skills

• Familiarity with SAFe agile methodology.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or equivalent.

Minimum Experience

Four (4) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
