The Senior Director, Learning, Leadership & Enablement will redefine how learning and enablement fuel the Covetrus vision-shaping every onboarding, leadership moment, product launch, and customer interaction to drive measurable adoption, clarity, and application of knowledge across all stakeholders.

This is a role for a strategic education innovator, a builder and a champion of transformation, who harnesses emerging technologies and AI to elevate learning content, knowledge delivery, and the overall experience-internally and externally.

Reporting to the CHRO, you will partner closely across HR, Sales, Product, Technology, and Customer Success to develop and execute a strategic learning and enablement roadmap, rooted in data and stakeholder feedback, that promotes Covetrus' strategy, solutions, and customer-centric vision.

You bring a continuous improvement mindset, deep expertise in modern learning, and the ability to inspire adoption and enable behavioral change at scale.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for learning and enablement that supports Covetrus' business transformation, customer journey, and vision.

  • Drive a culture of continuous transformation, championing innovative practices and technologies (including AI) to improve content, delivery, and learner experience.

  • Design role-based learning and enablement programs that clarify roles, instill key concepts, and enable real-world application.

  • Use data analytics, business outcomes, and stakeholder feedback to continuously assess and improve program impact.

  • Deliver integrated learning solutions across leadership, onboarding, sales, product, and customer education.

  • Build curricula that reflect Covetrus' solutions, technology, and customer ecosystem-linked directly to performance, customer success, and product adoption.

  • Lead in-person and virtual facilitation where needed, ensuring impactful delivery across all modalities and geographies.

  • Evolve and manage digital learning infrastructure (LMS, LXP, AI-driven platforms, microlearning, etc.) for maximum reach and effectiveness.

  • Partner with Sales Enablement to deliver training that directly aligns to business goals and sales performance.

  • Support compliance and regulatory learning needs across regions and business units.

  • Champion the voice of the learner and customer in every initiative, ensuring solutions are user-friendly, actionable, and impactful.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, operational excellence, and shared accountability for growth.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in learning, enablement, or talent development, with a strong record of driving innovation and adoption.

  • Proven ability to develop and scale programs that support sales, technical, product, leadership, and compliance learning.

  • Experience integrating emerging technologies and AI into learning strategies and delivery.

  • Background in SaaS, customer education, and field/sales enablement preferred.

  • Working knowledge of Challenger sales methodology and Salesforce (SFDC) tools is a plus.

  • Strong command of learning technologies; skilled at evaluating, implementing, and optimizing platforms.

  • Confident facilitator and communicator with presence at senior levels and across global audiences.

  • Experience thriving in hybrid, matrixed, and global organizational environments.

Salary may vary depending on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role.Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

However, the pay range for this position is as follows. Sales Positions are eligible for a Variable Incentive

$155,100.00-$221,500.00
