What you will do
Role Overview:

As a Portfolio Management Associate, you will support the strategic management and performance optimization of EDPR NA's renewable energy assets - including 10GW+ of wind, solar, and storage projects. You'll help ensure alignment with commercial, legal and financial obligations across a range of stakeholders, from tax equity investors to industrial partners.

Main responsibilities:

  • Monitor key operational and financial performance indicators (KPIs) of renewable assets, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Track material technical and commercial developments (e.g., power purchase agreements (PPAs), market or regulatory changes, transmission grid constraints, warranties).
  • Lead communications with investors regarding assets performance, manage required approvals, and other critical updates.
  • Collaborate with Asset Management and other internal teams, to assess (operational) developments and support decision making.
  • Analyze asset performance to determine impacts on investor returns and financial commitments.
  • Work closely with Legal to interpret contractual agreements and ensure compliance with respective obligations.
  • Support negotiations and updates to existing agreements (e.g., restructurings, PPA amendments, equity and tax-related matters ).
  • Maintain tracking systems for deliverables and ensure data integrity across portfolio dashboards and reports.
  • Update and manage financial models for budgeting, forecasting, valuation and monthly operational and financial reporting.
  • Additional duties as required.

What are we looking for
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Management, Engineering, Mathematics or related field; MBA a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in a relevant industry or role.
  • Strong understanding of investment concepts (IRR, NPV, and DCF), and financial modelling.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with database management and/or VBA coding skills a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and cross- functional collaboration skills.

  • Lifting: Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Vision/Hearing: Ability to understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Safety: Ability to understand and communicate safety precautions when necessary
