Team/Position Summary: Within Nintendo of America (NOA)'s Consumer Marketing department, the paid media team leads the strategy, planning, and activation of the paid media tactics for software and hardware advertising campaigns. The team develops campaigns aimed at reaching Nintendo's audiences wherever they are consuming content with the ultimate goal of driving campaign results. We utilize data and insights to optimize performance and ensure paid media efforts are achieving the overall marketing goal of the campaign. This job will include both media planning in a supportive role as well as managing campaign activation by leading the trafficking processes for the team. It will require cross collaboration with several NOA teams inclusive of analytics, creative, and communications as well as external collaboration with the paid media agency and creative agencies.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Assists in the media planning, trafficking coordination, and execution of paid media campaigns for hardware and software product launches through collaboration with cross-divisional partners.
  • Manages campaign trafficking process and agency trafficking communication for all Nintendo media campaigns.
  • Provides back-up support for the media campaign leads.
  • Manages the media planning, internal team coordination, and execution for smaller paid media campaign initiatives.
  • Facilitates the delivery of all campaign creative assets with media agency, internal teams, and other Nintendo of America regions for paid media tactics.
  • Partners with the finance department to track and reconcile spend, and address invoicing questions or adjustments.
  • Maintains team file management and leads process documentation to ensure efficient and effective organization of all campaign assets.
  • Assists in the preparation of reports and presentations.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum two years of related advertising, media, and/or marketing experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), with strong experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to manage details, multiple projects, and remain highly organized.
  • Knowledge of Nintendo products/video game industry preferred.
  • Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Formal training in marketing practices or equivalent preferred

    This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base pay range of $33.27 - $53.22 per hour, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
