Position Summary
The Institute of Human Nutrition is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Education Assistant to provide administrative and communications support for our Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs. This part-time role is ideal for a professional with excellent organizational and communication skills who can manage multiple tasks, work independently, and ensure efficient day-to-day operations of our CME courses.
The Education Assistant will work closely with program leadership, physicians, and faculty to support course coordination, manage communications, and maintain organized documentation for CME offerings.

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for in-person, virtual, and on-demand CME courses
- Serve as a primary point of contact for physicians and course faculty, handling professional and timely communications
- Respond to emails promptly and manage time-sensitive requests
- Assist in preparing and organizing course materials, including presentations, handouts, and evaluation forms
- Support course enrollment processes and track attendance
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for course documents, evaluations, and promotional materials
- Draft and edit communications, including course announcements, reminders, and follow-up emails
- Update course-related content on websites or learning management systems
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or working toward a degree) preferred
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal- Professional email communication style with a commitment to fast response times
- Ability to interact professionally with physicians, faculty, and administrative staff
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Comfort with digital tools (Zoom, Canvas or LMS platforms, basic website updates)
- Comfortable with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, In Design)
- Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting medical education, healthcare, or academic programs
- Familiarity with CME course processes and accreditation requirements
- Experience managing course logistics and/or virtual events
