Your Role

The Information Systems team is looking for an experienced Workday HRIS Analyst to continue to grow the Workday platform into a world class solution, with a primary focus on Benefits, Onboarding and core HCM. This position will be an integral part of the HRIS Team, working on design and maintenance of the system. You will collaborate with Human Resources, Finance and other stakeholders across the firm.

Our current Workday landscape includes Core HCM, Benefits, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Performance and Development, Learning and Absence Management.

**This position is based out of our Oakland office 5 days a week

What You Will Do

  • Support Workday Benefits, Onboarding and Time Tracking

  • Participate in the ongoing requirements gathering, design, test, deployment, and maintenance of Workday configuration for new functionality or enhancements.

  • Support Open Enrollment activities, including configuration, testing, issue resolution, and stake holder assistance.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues and resolve defects timely and with exceptional customer service

  • Demonstrate an ability to teach others how to use Workday effectively

  • Collaborate with HR teams around process efficiencies, and advocate needs to drive solutions

  • Support configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Workday

  • Participate in Workday's bi-annual releases

  • Assist with Workday HRIS operations including enhancements, customizations, upgrades, testing and maintenance.

  • Effectively collaborate with other related teams such as HR, Recruiting, Finance, IT, Data Platform, Payroll and others to provide support for requests

  • Monitor Workday community to stay abreast of the best practices, new features and Implement value added features.

  • Create functional and technical systems documentation, including clear step-by-step process guides for stakeholders and HR teams

Your Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant configuration and support experience in Workday

  • Broad knowledge of various HR areas of practice

  • Possesses a strong work ethic for working with confidential information.

  • Working knowledge of Workday operations and administration

  • International set up and configuration experience desired

  • Intermediate knowledge of Workday reporting

  • Creative and analytical thinking with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization

  • Experience with JIRA and Agile methodologies

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential

  • Excellent analytical skills, including an ability to explain systems and solutions in simple terms to stakeholders across the business.

  • Strong track record of owning end to end initiatives

  • Workday Pro Benefit Certification

**The compensation range for this role in Oakland, CA is estimated to be between $100k-$120k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
