Director of Contract Sales - Northern California
Hybrid | Full-Time | Reports to VP of Sales

What You'll Be Doing

Lead the Contract Sales Game Plan




  • Drive the negotiation, execution, and management of high-value, complex contracts.



  • Ensure every deal is airtight, on target, and delivering real results.




Build & Inspire a High-Performance Team




  • Lead, mentor, and elevate Contract Sales Managers and Reps.



  • Create a culture of accountability, growth, and winning together.




Be the Client's Go-To Strategic Partner




  • Deepen relationships with key accounts to uncover opportunities and solve problems before they even know they have them.



  • Align contract sales initiatives with the company's bigger picture goals.




Own the Strategy, Own the Market




  • Monitor industry trends, track competitor moves, and seize growth opportunities.



  • Allocate resources where they'll make the most impact.




Negotiate Like a Pro




  • Handle high-stakes discussions with precision, turning challenges into win-win agreements.



  • Navigate complex contract situations with confidence and creativity.

What We're Looking For


  • 8+ years in progressive contract sales leadership roles, ideally in foodservice distribution or a related industry.



  • Track record of closing complex, high-value contracts and exceeding targets.



  • Strong team leadership experience with proven ability to develop top performers.



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent practical experience.



  • Solid understanding of the kitchen equipment installation and distribution environment.



  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.



  • Willingness to travel as needed, with a valid driver's license.



  • Ability to pass a background check post-offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.


In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
