Job Description

The Senior EAP Clinical Services Consultant provides support to managers and HR, support to clients, recruits providers, and participates in quality management activities.

Working in a team setting with provider relations coordinator, senior business coordinator, and administrative coordinator, the Senior Consultant will provide:

  • Follow established protocol to assist with client assessment, crisis intervention including welfare checks and evaluation of psychiatric emergencies. Provide support to HR and managers in client organizations when there is an employee in distress, a serious performance issue involving substance abuse or fitness for duty, or a psychiatric emergency.

  • Support provider network including recruitment, mentoring, training and clinical consultation.

  • Respond to providers and client inquiries regarding additional visits, requests for a single case provider, and specialized services for clients (access to the health plan, medication evaluation, IOP) Documents and resolve grievances and participates in quality management processes.

The purpose of this position: is to provide quality EAP services to employees and family members of client organizations, support managers and HR staff, and recruitment of qualified and available clinical providers. This is achieved by assisting clients with work-related, personal and emotional problems, family relationships, and substance abuse problems. The position also assists providers with complex cases and navigating high risk client situations.

Qualifications

  • A Master's Degree in a relevant mental health profession and a California license as a LCSW, LMFT; OR a doctoral degree in psychology and California license as a psychologist.

  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience that includes proficiency in clinical assessment and referral, substance abuse assessment, coordination of care, and short-term problem resolution counseling.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in a collaborative setting offering clinical consultation to providers and management consultations to HR and managers for client organizations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to balance multiple demands and expectations.

License/Certification/Registration Requirements

  • Unrestricted California license as an LCSW , LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist (LP)

  • Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) preferred.

Ages of Patients Served- This position will serve all age groups.

Salary Range:

$50.36 - $75.54 USD Hourly
