The Department of Radiology is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Business Assistant to provide administrative support to senior leadership. Under the general supervision of the Associate Director of Clinical Operations and Engagement, this role is responsible for managing multiple calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and assisting with special projects. The Business Assistant plays a key role in ensuring that departmental actvities are efficiently scheduled, organized, and executed, while maintaining a high level of discretion. Additionally, this position supports the promotion of the department's research, clinical and educational missions.

The Department of Radiology is dedicated to improving human health through innovation in clinical care imaging research and education.   • The work schedule is flexible and will be determined at the time of hire.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations
  • Develops, implements, and maintains methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures
  • Develops, sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures
  • Prepares and audits complex records, edits documents, and reviews work done by others
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for individuals and groups, provides organizational information via phone, in person, and through other communication mediums

Compensation:

The starting salary for the position is $26.44/hour; but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Required Qualifications:

Experience with administative support required (at least 2 years).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in an academic or clinical setting preferred.

Education:

Preferred Bachelor's Degree
