What Makes This Role Great: In this role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring continuous FedRAMP and DoD authorization, directly influencing the security posture of our cloud offerings and enabling critical partnerships with government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and enhance Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) accountabilities within our FedRAMP ATO boundary, covering infrastructure and application deployment, business continuity, and secure software development.

  • Lead and evolve our FedRAMP and Department of Defense (DoD) Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) program, managing monthly deliverables and driving operational efficiency through automation.

  • Oversee incident response, change management, and third-party assessment organization (3PAO) relationships to maintain robust security and compliance.

  • Proactively manage vulnerability remediation and maintain comprehensive reporting on our system's security posture to government agencies.

  • Stay ahead of all FedRAMP and DoD Security Requirements Guide (SRG) changes, ensuring continuous compliance by monitoring official repositories and direct government sources.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • US citizenship is required.

  • 10+ years experience managing SRE and DevOps teams supporting private or public sector PaaS or SaaS applications.

  • Extensive experience in security operations and compliance management, particularly within highly regulated environments.

  • Demonstrated understanding of FedRAMP and DoD Continuous Monitoring requirements and processes.

  • Proven success translating compliance strategy into software operations execution and engineering team integration.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience managing programs leveraging automation and modern approaches like OSCAL-native tools and AI efficiencies for compliance certification.

About Our Division: The Trimble AECO segment is dedicated to Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations. This segment focuses on providing digital construction solutions designed to increase precision and productivity for construction tasks.

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.

$170,554.00-$230,444.00
