Assistant Director, Foundation Relations
Overview Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington. The Assistant Director, Foundation Relations, is a member of the Gifts & Grants program and reports to the Program Director, Foundation Relations. The Gifts & Grants program focuses on relationship-based fundraising to secure gifts ranging from $10,000 to $4.9 million from individuals including patient families, as well as corporate and foundation partners. The Assistant Director, Foundation Relations, works under the direction of team leadership to develop and implement effective, creative, and personalized strategies to increase giving through the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of mid-level donors and prospective donors. The Assistant Director, Foundation Relations, is responsible for engaging mid-level private foundation donors and prospective donors. Some travel and weekend and evening work will be required. This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely. Responsibilities Primary/Essential Duties
Work with physicians, researchers, and clinicians to develop and submit letters of inquiry, grant proposals, and progress reports.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $82,846 to $124,238, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
