The School of Arts and Sciences (
SAS) is the largest academic unit at Rutgers University and the center of the undergraduate experience on the Rutgers-New Brunswick campus and is comprised of 41 academic departments spanning the liberal arts.

Posting Summary |
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator for the Dean's Office within the School of Arts and Sciences. Reporting to the Vice Dean in the Office of Research and Graduate Education (
RGE) with functional dotted line to the Directors in
RGE.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Coordinates the development of best practices, data gathering, and comprehensive planning documents to meet the priorities of the Office.
- Assists as necessary in the day-to-day administration of programs, projects, research related events and symposia and/or processes regarding the planning, preparation, evaluation, and control of communications, events, records, statistics, reports, and documents.
- Develops and distributes the annual program calendar and operational processes and is the primary manager of the calendar for the Vice Dean.
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with various stakeholders within SAS and externally.
- Works consistent with an understanding of the mission, vision, role, and goals of the Office of Research and Graduate Education.
- May assist in research support activities.
- Carries out routine and semi- routine work within work parameters for the unit and under general supervision upon completion.
- Performs professional level work that requires knowledge of program coordination and application.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- A bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of program design and execution, coordination, organization, facilitation, report analysis, writing, and promotion/outreach.
- A minimum of two years relevant experience in a program coordination or administrative function that includes coordination of work and management of people.

- Excellent communication skills and organization.
- Good computer literacy including proficiency in MS Office products including but not limited to Excel.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience with grant/sponsored program management and proposal development.
RAPSS experience. Tableau proficiency.- Experience with Grad Portal, Grad Tracking, Insight and HCM.

- PC, RAPPS, SAS systems and databases including but not limited to Insight, Tableau, Grad Portal, Grad Tracking and HCM.
