Overview:

Job Description Summary:

Analyzes, develops, and implements assigned projects and tasks to support the Security Department's Information Systems. Serves as the Information Services liaison to the customer area to assist in translating customer needs into system functionality.

Job Description:

Essential Functions:

  • Maintains and monitors systems, applying updates, managing data, and reviewing system performance.
  • Assists with officer account management, including account creation, manipulation, and deletion.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs system hardware such as cameras, card readers, parking equipment, or call box equipment.
  • Provides education and training on Security software to the customer.
  • Assists with project planning and reporting.
  • Maintains accurate customer and system documentation.

Education Requirement:

  • Associate's Degree, required.
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred.

Skills:

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of a programming language, platform, and database application.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Operating System.
  • Working knowledge of information systems principles and techniques.

Experience:

One year of experience or education in information services, required.
