Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Are you a Registered Dietitian with a passion for diabetes and obesity care? We're seeking a dedicatedObesity Care Specialistto join the Emplify Health by Gundersen team and support patients through advanced, evidence-based treatment strategies. What is Available: Full Time, 1.0 FTE Locations: La Crosse & Onalaska Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00a-4:00p Starting rate of $30.23/hr - higher rates available based on experience What You'll Do: Provide specialized nutrition counseling and support for patients managing obesity and diabetes Collaborate with endocrinology and diabetes care teams to deliver integrated care Titrate and manage GLP-1 medications, including patient education and ongoing medication adjustments Support patients through lifestyle changes and long-term care planning What You'll Need: Bachelors Degree in Dietetics Registered as a Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD) State Certification or Licensure (CD) in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa 3-4 years of experience in diabetes education, diabetes care, and/or endocrinology Proven experience in medication management, specifically with GLP-1 medications (used for diabetes and recently approved for obesity treatment) Certificate of Training in Obesity for Pediatrics and Adults required within two years of hire Why Emplify by Gundersen?
