Job Description:In the Behring Pavilion the Radiation Therapist delivers patient treatments in Radiation Oncology. The Radiation Therapist creates treatment devices, simulates patients, reviews treatment charts for accuracy, performs quality assurance tasks, and safely delivers radiation to the patient, The Radiation Therapist provides patient care that is consistent with the John Muir mission and vision. The Radiation Therapist is focused on high quality delivery of care. Education Completion of Radiation Therapy Technology Program - Accredited - Required Bachelor's Degree Preferred Experience 2 years Healthcare - Radiation Oncology Technologist - Preferred Certifications/Licensure RRT Registered Radiation Therapist - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Required *and* CDPH - Certified Radiologic Technologist Therapeutic Radiologic Technology - Required *and* BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required Skills Excellent written and oral communication Use of Epic and other patient data systems Ability to direct patient care Ability to collaborate with physicians and other professionals in patient care work shift: Per Diem Days 0800-1630 Work Shift:08.0 - Per Diem Days No Waive (United States of America) Pay Range: $76.02 - $102.61 Hourly Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure. Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area. Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
