This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, a team that manages the logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon's industry leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively so that people can see brilliantly.

The Sr. Associate I, Master Data Governance & Management (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for optimizing master data management by ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security through data governance policies. You will apply advanced knowledge and analytical skills to perform specialized tasks and conduct independent research. Specifics include:

* Perform specialized tasks and conduct independent research to optimize master data management outcomes
* Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security by implementing data governance policies and processes
* Make decisions within the scope of assigned tasks using advanced knowledge and analytical skills
* Adhere to GxP regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate documentation
* Ensure rigorous quality control, complete all required training, and commit to continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements

The Sr. Associate, Master Data Governance & Management is primarily responsible for ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security by applying specialized knowledge and following established processes.Specifics include:

  • Demonstrate advanced project management and communication skills to effectively coordinate all master data related changes. Examples include special projects (EUMDR), new material creation, bill of material changes, material rationalization, and routine maintenance of existing data.
  • Ability to perform in a leadership capacity and effective task management with cross-functional teams.
  • Adherence to GxP regulations per standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory standards

Key Accountabilities:

  • Cross Functional Leadership - coordinating and driving associates both internally and externally across all Alcon sites.
  • Enterprise Mindset - capable of seeing the big picture to provide deep, accurate analysis and make strategic decisions
  • Proactive Approach - identify issues, communicate effectively and drive to resolution

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • 2 Years of Relevant Experience
  • 1st Shift M-F 7a to 4p
  • Location: On Site
