Description *This position qualifies for our UNC Rex Incentive Program, which includes up to $20,000 commitment incentive or up to $25,000 tuition loan forgiveness. Our unit specializes in caring for patients requiring: Postoperative Cardiothoracic Surgery Recovery Complex Vascular Surgery Recovery Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) Advanced Hemodynamic Monitoring Mechanical Circulatory Support Intensive Care Interventions for Critically Ill Patients High-Acuity Cardiovascular Critical Care You'll care for a diverse patient population ranging from young adults to geriatric patients, providing comprehensive critical care during some of their most vulnerable moments. Care is delivered through a collaborative interdisciplinary team model that includes Clinical Nurses, physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), pharmacists, respiratory therapists, perfusionists, care managers, chaplains, patient care technicians, and other specialized cardiovascular care team members committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
