*Description*
The Program Specialist is responsible for serving as the customer's primary point of contact providing operational and reimbursement support to complex programs within Neovance. The focus of the Program Specialist is to own issues and remove obstacles that prevent patients or providers from accessing the therapies requested. The Program Specialist will be a self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative, identifying barriers, and working with the appropriate parties to eliminate these obstructions for the customer. If you are selected for a Program Specialist will have the opportunity to work in an energetic, fast paced environment. Will be required to manage a high-volume of customer facing tasks daily or be responsible for quickly and accurately performing data entry in the program's tracking system. The Program Specialist must be disciplined with the ability to speak with customers, sit and talk for long stretches. Biogen 1:1 Candidates can be sourced nationally, will be 100% remote. Agents will support high inbound calls; previous inbound experience is required with familiarity with medical terminology a plus. Onboard training is the first two days (up to the first two and half days), anticipated training time will be 9:00 - 5:30 EST/6:00 - 2:30 PST. Program specific training duration is approximately 4 weeks. Candidates should not have PTO authorized during training period. Please do not submit candidates that plan on having time off during the training period. Candidates should be available for the entirety of the training duration. Additionally, time off once training has been completed may be limited as well, this is a short-term high-volume project so we need all of the staff available to support the patients who need assistance. Shift hours after training will be determined after training is completed but will fall during the Program's hours of operation: 8:30a-8:00p EST. Please note, that no one will be able to start before the hotline opens at 8:30. Staff who live in the MT or PST time zones will have later shifts. Preferred experience in any of these areas: *Major medical experience *Buy and bill experience *Acquisition channel experience *Insurance benefits verification support *Experience Level* Entry Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
