Hourly Pay Range: $28.47 - $42.71 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:
What you will do: Under supervision, conducts comprehensive clinical assessments for patients seeking treatment at LOH, Edward Hospital and Elmhurst Hospital.
Completes and acts as a resource to hospital staff on admission paperwork and patient rights. Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of hospital admission policies, including but not limited to EMTALA, Illinois Mental Health Code and Confidentiality Act and HIPAA. Demonstrates understating of Behavioral Health Reimbursement systems, including managed care contracts, utilization management processes, Medicare and Medicaid. Facilitates bed management planning and coordination with nursing supervisors. Collaborates with nursing supervisor regarding admissions and discharges. Functions as backup for the Psych Liaison and Care Coordinator when needed. What you will need: Required Education, Skills and/or Experience:
