Summary

As a Project Engineer, you will support product improvement and lifecycle maintenance projects for dosing, dispensing and dilution, from concept through verification and validation and on to implementation. This includes design, development, testing/verification and technical report writing. You will support projects to implement design changes that enhance performance, improve quality and manufacturing processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and achieve cost reduction goals. You will ensure that all documentations are to Diversey standards prior to instigating work with suppliers and all development work is fully documented working within the quality system.

Responsibilities

  • Support product improvements in the field of dosing, dispensing and dilution of chemical products.

  • Accurate and detailed report writing on evaluation of existing samples and field returns and an ability to provide innovative solutions to issues that may arise.

  • Contribute to the completion of product package (which can include drawings, quality plans, and test requirements).

  • Administration and control of documentation, BOM and ECN releases to suppliers.

  • Cooperate within multifunctional projects. Interact with Marketing, Quality and Supply Chain to extract all requirements relevant to the technical design.

  • Work and liaise with suppliers and internal groups as needed during the development phase of a project to ensure quality levels and adequate control are maintained through the development process.

  • Support complaint investigations and root cause analyses.

  • Responsible for execution of test requirements and test protocols (at times up to 50% lab work).

  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.

Qualifications

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.

  • 4+ years of field and project planning experience.

  • Experience with project management processes.

  • Good management skills to prioritize work and ensure timely delivery of projects.

Predominantly Office and Laboratory. Occasional workshop use and supplier factory visits. Will be on site in Fort Mill 3+ days a week.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $69,000.00 and $115,000.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
