Note: APA operates on a 37.5-hour work week with one-hour lunch breaks each day. APA sets salaries based on several considerations, including years of relevant experience, level of education, and previous staff and/or governance experience at APA. The Office of Program Consultation and Accreditation (OPCA) facilitates the APA-Commission on Accreditation's policy development and program review for the accreditation of master's, doctoral, internship, and postdoctoral programs in health service psychology. The Program Review Associate is responsible for Commission on Accreditation (CoA) meeting preparations and providing expert consultation on multiple aspects of the program review process, including substantive changes, reporting requirements, and interim reporting. The Program Review Associate is also responsible for monitoring the submission of program responses and tracking of the reporting requirement review process. The Program Review Associate must apply the Standards of Accreditation (SoA) in order to conduct high quality reviews of psychology program compliance reports based on the SoA; serve as a key-leader during CoA meetings; and compose detailed correspondence regarding accreditation decision outcome feedback which may reflect negative decisions that pose legal implications and require legal consultation and review.
